Ashley and Mike are quite possibly the cutest couple I have ever seen. And throw their daughter into the mix… I can barely take it. Talk about personality! This kid absolutely cracks me up! We met up at Waters Farm, I know… Waters Farm. I think that place was the place to be for a lot of my clients. Everyone just loves it and always wants to go there! Anyway, we met up and had a serious snuggle sesh. Well… them, not me. Not that I wouldn’t snuggle. Everyone knows I love a good snuggle but I did my best to resist and took some photos. I loved hanging out with you two (three). I’m so looking forward to your wedding! xo

Waters Farm Wedding

This is the wedding of a couple of my nearest and dearest friends. It was an intimate ceremony set against the beautiful backdrop of Waters Farm. And… it was a secret! Yup… a secret. They kept it hush hush and I got to be a part of the whole thing. Well… I threatened them a little and got to be a part of the whole thing. Well, it wasn’t so much a threat as it was a Greek momma scolding. At any rate, it worked and I got to get all teary and take some photos for them. Purgatory Chasm and Waters Farm Engagement Session

When Danielle asked me if I had ever done an engagement session at Purgatory Chasm I said no, but I had no problem doing pictures there. I hadn’t been there in a while, but life is an adventure right? I get there, and Danielle and Scott were looking pretty beautiful/handsome, and she was wearing these killer green heels. Now I don’t know about you, but depending on the shoe… I can barely walk across a floor, let alone go hiking. She had sneakers with her, so it was all good. Lucky for her because the momma in me would have come out and said something about falling and cracking her head. I can’t help it! Meanwhile… me, a camera bag, a camera around my neck and of course lets not forget how graceful I am. Hiking… sure. Why not. Well, I’m so glad we did, because we got some great photos. Good call Danielle. I had so much fun with the two of you. Can’t wait for your wedding! xo

Waters Farm Beauty Shoot

I got to play dress up with this GORGEOUS little lady recently. It was an extra special shoot for me because she is my niece… and she just turned 21. Ugh… time flies. I remember when she was 3 and we would go to the park, blow bubbles, eat ice cream and take pictures. Well, some things don’t change because we still have ice cream and take pictures. She came over and we played hair and makeup and went to Waters Farm for a few photos. I don’t need to tell you how beautiful she is, you can see that for yourself. But as much fun as it always is for me to be behind the camera, I’m not going to lie, there was a bit of a lump in my throat watching her… be her. All grown up. Beautiful. Confident. Carefree. She was my first “baby” and seeing her evolve into this brilliant young lady is, well… amazing. We had fun hanging out and being silly, and for a spit second while I was watching her laugh in the sun light, it brought me back to when she was 3. And when we were done with our perfect afternoon… we had a perfect ending. An ice cream cone.

It was a warm day with the slightest whisper of a breeze that just skimmed your skin. The light was buttery golden at Waters Farm and I had the most gorgeous momma to be and her hubby to take pictures of. Could it be any more beautiful! While I was waiting for them to get there I came across a perfect little daisy. I picked it and thought it would be cute for the pictures. When Megan and Justin got there, Megan told me that their dog’s name is Daisy! So I guess Daisy was with us in spirit. How cute! Thanks for letting me take pictures of such a beautiful time in your lives… xo

I know its October… and I know there’s talk of snow, but I just had to post this gorgeous shoot that I did with Samantha. Late summer sun warming your skin, casting a warm summer glow. Damn, I miss warm weather. Sam’s makeup was done by the ever so talented Barbara Rodriguez. Come take a stroll, can you feel the warmth? *sigh*
